We walked into town to see the Guy Fawlkes Day fireworks Monday and returned home to find our laptop and cameras gone, and our house turned inside out in case there was anything else to take. Fortuately all they found was a little cash, leaving us a big mess. It's also fortunate that they don't seem interested in personal information as they found it all and left it. I mean and clever thief could probably be accessing this blog among other things but we here from the police that they will almost certainly clear the computer and sell it if they haven't already.
Fortunately the computer came from dad so it was registered and he's already provided the necessary details to identify it if it turns up. We're also fortunate that Dad made a back up of our pictures while he was here, so we've only lost our pictures of our trip to Holland and our English Halloween. They took all of our video tapes that were in the case.
So no pictures from the last couple of weeks or so, and for the immediate future. I'm reminded of the time we went to the river to go punting and forgot our camera. We decided to come back the next day with the camera. So I guess now we decide how to buy a camera in England or we come home, right?
